Background: 

Week 1

  • Problem solving process

  • How can we choose websites based on the needs of a user?

  • Digital footprint: How can you make sure that your private information stays private? (Activity: Social sleuth)

  • Pair-share: Explain the benefits of having an e-portfolio and plan how it will be used in the future.

  • Research at least three existing web portfolios on the web during the first lesson. ​​​​​

Week 2

  • Intellectual property:  What kind of rules protect everyone's rights when we use each other's content?

  • Research how to use Canva to design and publish websites (or wix studio platform (if you have an access)) to create their own website.

  • Start working on your e-portfolio.​​

Week 3

  • Continue working on their e-portfolios: including the following information: Nickname, initials, name, image (optional), “welcome text + what this portfolio is about”, education information, extra-curricular activities, interests, achievements, what are the expectations from Design technology course, other information (optional) 

  • Presentation.

  • Collect at least 3 feedbacks from your peers, make a self-reflection, include changes (if any) 

  • Graded: Submit the link to your portfolio.
